Strong Foundation. Bright Future.
The Choral Arts Ensemble of Portland recently celebrated its 40th Anniversary. It is regarded as one of the finest choral ensembles in the Northwest. The ensemble is beginning a new chapter in its story after the retirement of internationally renowned conductor and director emeritus Roger O. Doyle.
Our goals include striving for unique and compelling programming, artistic excellence in performance, and seeking opportunities for community outreach. Our repertoire appeals to a diverse audience, everything from Handel to Moses Hogan, J.S. Bach to Leonard Bernstein, and Palestrina to Cole Porter.
The Choral Arts Ensemble is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers. We invite you to support fine choral music in the greater Portland/Vancouver community by subscribing to the 2011- 2012 season!
